For me poetry is a very intimate form of expressing our thoughts and feelings.
I wrote this poem several years ago and have not shared it with anyone until now. As I begin to share with you I well up with tears of love for my daughters and the joy they have given me!

Two Daughters
Two daughters fill my soul.
Two daughters.
Fill my soul to overflowing with love.
Two daughters.
Fill my soul to overflowing.
With love that expands our hearts.
Two daughters.
Fill my soul to overflowing.
With love that expands our hearts, we cannot be separated no matter the distance between us.
Two daughters.
Fill my soul to overflowing.
With love that expands our hearts.
We cannot be separated no mater the distance.
Between us we are connected with a red velvet ribbon.
